RLWC 2021: Bati lead Kiwis at half-time

The Fiji Bati lead New Zealand 12-6 in their Rugby League World Cup quarter-final match at MKM Stadium in Hull.

Maika Sivo crossed over in the corner after 12 minutes with Brandon Wakeham making it 6-0.

Eight minutes later, captain Kevin Naiqama cut back on the grain to score near the posts. Wakeham stepped up to add the two points as Fiji led 12-0.

New Zealand hit back through Ronaldo Mulitalo who went over in the corner. Jordan Rapana converted as the Kiwis trailed 6-12.
