Ratu Kadavulevu School is coming into the 2024 Fiji Finals with one goal and that is to win the overall boys’ title.
They won the title back-to-back in 2018 and 2019 and there has been a drought ever since.
After retaining the Tailevu Zone title earlier this month, the boys from Delainakaikai are primed for success.
“RKS does not only come in to participate, they are also from the City of Men and we always come in to prove our worth,” vice principal Sailosi Koroibula stated.
The vice principal also admitted that competition has proven tough over the years with minnows causing surprises.
However, their quest holds a lot of meaning as the school celebrates its 100th anniversary.
“We just want to showcase the talent of our boys; a win will be a bonus for us. RKS is always in the forefront of being obedient, disciplined and with a heart of humility plus with the faith of God that we have.
“We are going to do our best and we will do all the talking on the field,” he added.
RKS finished in second place overall last year with nine gold, eight silver and six bronze medals.
The 2024 Fiji Finals will be held on May 2-4 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
