Job advertisement survey by the Reserve Bank of Fiji has shown that employment has been on an upward trend for the past six months, says Economy Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

While announcing the Revised 2021-2022 National Budget this evening, he said almost 25,000 jobs were added in the formal sector and a similar number in the informal sector.

“This is supported by total salaries and wages and FNPF contributions and PAYE,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.
