REIGNING Model of the Year for Fiji Fashion Week Remi Naqali is the new Ambassador of Fiji Fashion Week (FJFW) 2020.
Remi has also just graduated with a Bachelor of Law and will be admitted to the Bar in February 2020.
The Tilivalevu lass from Nadroga began her modeling career in 2013 when she was 19 years old.
The FJFW states that Remi has modelled on a part-time basis from high school, and continued through her time at the University of the South Pacific successfully juggling her law studies with numerous modelling assignments at the Fiji, Australia and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks.
“I thank FJFW and the team for their hard work over the years. They have contributed so much to who I am today in life. Modeling has given me so much exposure in the marketing arena and has helped build my confidence. I am privileged and blessed to be FJFW’s face of 2020,” she said.
FJFW recently launched its program for May 20-30, 2020, at the Vodafone Arena.
Now in its 13th year, FJFW is the longest and most successful Fashion event running in Fiji and the Pacific Region at large.
The first Model auditions for FJFW 2020 will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Lambert Hall; and a second audition on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Fiji National University, Namaka Campus.
