Radrodro dismissed from Cabinet; Gavoka to assume Education minister portfolio from next week

Education minister, Aseri Radrodro has been dismissed from Cabinet by the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka effective from Monday, January  22, 2024.

In a statement, Mr Rabuka said Mr Radrodro has been dismissed for insubordination and disobedience to his directive.

Mr Rabuka has informed the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere and Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Naqama Lalabalavu of his decision.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism Viliame Gavoka will assume the portfolio as Minister for Education in addition to his responsibility for Tourism and Civil Aviation with effect from Monday, January 22, 2024,
