Brother New Zealand, suppliers of home and office printers, has officially launched its new distribution network, ‘Pacific Brothers,’ marking a significant expansion of its operations in the Pacific region.
The announcement was made in Suva this week. Executive chairman Graham Walshe acknowledged the company’s partners for their support in building the necessary infrastructure.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our partners in establishing our distribution network,” Walshe said.
“Today, we are excited to showcase the results of our hard work and share our vision for the future.”
‘Pacific Brothers’ is set to enhance Brother’s distribution across Fiji and the broader Pacific Islands. The network will manage a range of products including sewing machines, P-touch labelling products, and other essential tools for clothing manufacturing, corporate sectors, and retail. The new distribution model focuses on sustainability and customer-centric service.
The company aimed to resolve 80 percent of customer support issues remotely, minimizing the need for on-site repairs and aligning with environmental sustainability goals.
Mr Walshe said the commitment to providing free installation, training, and environmentally friendly disposal of packaging for purchases over $898.
He also outlined the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, including allocating 10 per cent of profits to child poverty alleviation and educational opportunities, and adhering to global social development goals.
The company’s operations will serve as a hub for the Pacific, with plans to handle distribution, support, and training from Fiji.
“Fiji as the hub of the Pacific will be our center of excellence, creating jobs and serving as a model for sustainable and responsible business practices,” Mr Walshe said.
He said Brother is dedicated to meeting customer needs with integrity and transparency, aiming to exceed expectations and foster long-term relationships with clients across the region.
