A post-mortem examination will be conducted today on the bodies of Kushal Kumar and Sandeep Narayan of Navatu, Rakiraki, whose weekend fishing trip ended in tragedy.
The two men left for fishing in a kayak on Saturday night but failed to return home the following morning, prompting their families to raise the alarm.
A joint search operation was launched soon after, and their kayak was found washed ashore in Navatu waters on Sunday morning.
The body of Kumar, believed to be in his late twenties, was discovered on Sunday afternoon.
Narayan, his brother-in-law, was found on Monday morning after continued efforts by police and community search teams.
