The Ba Police Football Club handed over the Digicel Fiji National Regional Club Championship trophy to divisional Police commander, West Senior Superintendent of Police Lakobo Vaisewa after winning the tournament last week.
The side defeated the ER PVC Supplies Greenstars Football Club of Nadroga 4-nil during the final on December 17, at the Fiji Football Academy Grounds in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
Handing over their club’s achievements yesterday was the officer in charge of Ba Policing District Assistant Superintendent of Police Mohammed Riyaz.
SSP Vaisewa thanked ASP Riyaz and conveyed his appreciation to the team for the good sportsmanship displayed during the tournament, where they managed to win the tournament for the first time.
The divisional police commander said he was proud of the team’s achievement, adding that he was expecting bigger and better things from them come 2024.
