Police caught red-handed a man found packing white substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Information received from the public led the police team to Tacirua Heights where they arrested the 47-year old man.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations (ACP) Livai Driu said they also found syringes and equipment allegedly used for the packing of the illicit substances.
He has applauded support from the communities in sharing information describing this as a positive sign of police-community collaboration in curbing the illicit trade.
The suspect was taken into custody with the seized substances sent for analysis.
