Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has stopped an international travel for Women Minister Lynda Tabuya.

Mr Rabuka confirmed that his decision was based on pending issues surrounding Ms Tabuya.

He didn’t elaborate on the pending issues but he confirmed disapproving the trip for Ms Tabuya.

Ms Tabuya was supposed to travel to New York last week to attend the 68th session on the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68).

But this trip has been led by Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Social Protection Eseta Nadakuitavuki.
