Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Apisai Koroisau is of Fijian descent and played his junior football for the Berala Bears, before being signed by the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Koroisau played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs NYC team in 2011 and 2012, before moving on to the Rabbitohs New South Wales Cup team, the North Sydney Bears, in 2013.

In October 2013, Koroisau was named in the Fijian 2013 World Cup squad. Koroisau made his debut for Fiji in Round 1 of the tournament against Ireland in the 32-14 win at Spotland Stadium. Koroisau played in 4 matches in the tournament.

Apisai Koroisau is an Australian professional rugby league player who currently plays for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. A Fiji national representative and premiership winner with the Rabbitohs, he plays at hooker and five-eighth and previously played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Penrith Panthers.

Playing at halfback, Koroisau scored his first club try for the Sea Eagles in their 12-16 loss at Brookvale Oval. Despite the loss, his performance on the night won him the Man of the Match award from match broadcaster Channel 9.
