Update: 1:15PM THE Fiji women’s cricket team settled for a bronze medal at the 2015 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea late yesterday afternoon.
Fiji finished third after the round robin playoffs in Port Moresby, booking a match against Vanuatu and defeated them by 12 runs to win the bronze medal.
Ruci Mariyalo’s 72 off 36 balls including seven sixes ensured Fiji posted a competitive score of 118 runs which the Vanuatu bats women were unable to reach.
