Overseas boxers signed up for bout

The highly-anticipated South Pacific Boxing Promotion bout is set to electrify fans at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on May 18 with six overseas boxers locking in their spots for the event.

The main bout for the night will be Fiji’s Winston Hill as he squares off against Victoria-based Jyl Wright for the prestigious IBO Super Welterweight Asia Pacific title.

Adding to the excitement, Paul Ratumaikoro of Ba will go head-to-head against Apisai Naciqa from Ra in a thrilling light heavyweight title clash.

“It will be a good night of boxing, and no one will return home disappointed. We are calling out to fans to come and support their favourite boxers,” South Pacific Boxing Promotion’s Freddy Chand said.

“Six overseas boxers have confirmed their places, and this will be an interesting show to watch.”

Ratumaikoro is rallying for support from his fans, urging them to turn up in large numbers to cheer him on.

“I want support on the night and calling on all my fans to come out in big numbers,” Ratumaikoro said.

With such thrilling matchups on the card, it’s sure to be a night to remember for boxing enthusiasts.
