The Registrar of Political Parties, Ana Mataiciwa, has officially approved the registration of One Nation, bringing the total number of registered political parties in Fiji to ten.
The registration was granted under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013, after the party successfully met all legal requirements for registration.
According to the Registrar, One Nation resubmitted its application on 21 May 2026 after its initial application was not approved. Following a review, the application was found to be compliant with the requirements of the Act.
As a registered political party, One Nation must now comply with all statutory obligations, including submitting the required declarations and financial disclosures within the prescribed timelines.
The registration marks the latest addition to Fiji’s political landscape as preparations continue ahead of the country’s next general election.
