THE New Zealand football Ferns have made a brave start to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France this morning.

The Oceania representatives went down against European Champions 1-nil.

The Ferns had numerous chances on goal and was the between of the two teams hitting the post on a few occasions.
