Newcastle Knights Captain and fullback, Kalyn Ponga, resiliently bounced back from a stomach bug, refocusing his determination for the much-anticipated clash against the Melbourne Storm today.

“I’m OK now, just had a little bug, it’s been a long 12 hours but I have eaten and drank well and feeling well for Saturday’s match,” Ponga said yesterday.

The match at Churchill Park kicks off at 2.45pm. Gates open at 12pm.
