The Board of Directors of Vision Investments Limited has appointed Niraj Bhartu as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026, after he served a year in the acting position.
Bhartu has been Acting CEO since September 1, 2025, and has more than a decade of service with the company.
Before taking up the acting CEO position, he served as General Manager Finance from 2015.
The Board said Bhartu brings more than 25 years of experience spanning executive management, finance, governance, risk, assurance and corporate advisory.
His extensive involvement across the Group has also provided him with a strong understanding of its diversified businesses, operations and key stakeholders.
Chairman Navin Patel said Bhartu was well positioned to guide the organisation through its next stage of development.
Patel described him as a “highly experienced and capable executive” who would lead the company and Group into their “next phase of growth, diversification and transformation.”
Bhartu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Western Sydney.
He is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Chartered Accountant and member of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Bhartu is also an alumnus of the Leadership Fiji Programme and has completed executive education programmes at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
In 2018, he was named Listed Company Achiever of the Year at the SPX Grand Awards.
