SPORTS and fitness enthusiasts in Nasinu and the Suva-Nausori corridor now have access to a brand-new, state-of-the-art gym.
Grace Roads Group officially opened their two-million-dollar True Fitness centre at the True Mart complex in Laqere.
This impressive gym will be the fourth largest in the country, covering 1000 square meters and equipped with the latest training gear suitable for all fitness levels.
The gym also boasts a male and female locker rooms with each room providing 50 lockers and 3 showers for members and teams using the facility.
Grace Roads president Daniel Kim said fitness and giving back to the community are key values for the organization.
“We want to build a strong, healthy community, and fitness plays a big part in that. That’s why every development we do includes a gym,” he said.
As part of their commitment to the community, the Nasinu Rugby and Volleyball teams will be able to train at the facility for free.
President Kim said this isn’t the first time they’ve supported local sports.
“At our Navua sports facility, we also offer free use to the Namosi Rugby team, and they’ve used it many times to prepare for their games,” he shared.
He added that in the future, support will extend beyond rugby and volleyball to include all sports clubs in the areas where Grace Roads operates, helping to encourage sports and fitness for everyone.
