NETBALL Fiji has taken another significant step forward in its revival journey, with M-PAiSA Fiji, in partnership with Vodafone Fiji, announced as the inaugural naming rights sponsor of the M-PAISA Netball Fiji Rally.

The competition will commence in August, bringing together teams from the Central Eastern, Western and Northern divisions in what promises to be Fiji’s premier regional netball competition.

The championships will feature competitions across the Under-15, Under-17, Under-23, Open Women’s and Open Men’s divisions, with the Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Association fielding teams in the Under-15 and Under-17 grades.

The tournament provides a valuable pathway for emerging athletes to showcase their talent while supporting the continued growth and development of netball at every level across Fiji.

The M-PAiSA Regional Netball Championships will serve as a talent identification platform, with players, coaches and officials having the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities as Netball Fiji continues building towards future international campaigns, including the 2027 Netball World Cup.

The partnership represents a major milestone for Netball Fiji and its affiliated associations.

In previous years, many regional competitions relied heavily on the commitment and financial support of local associations and volunteers.

The investment from M-PAiSA Fiji and Vodafone Fiji will ease that burden while creating greater opportunities for athletes, officials and communities throughout the country.

Netball Fiji believes the partnership extends beyond sponsorship.

It reflects a shared vision of empowering women, men, girls and boys through sport while embracing digital innovation and strengthening community connections across Fiji.

As the organisation continues its revival, the focus remains firmly on growing grassroots participation, developing high-performance athletes, supporting coaches and officials, and improving the infrastructure needed to sustain the sport’s long-term success.

Netball Fiji extends its sincere appreciation to M-PAiSA Fiji and Vodafone Fiji for believing in the future of the sport and investing in the next generation of Fijian netballers.

The organisation also acknowledges the dedication of its Association Presidents, Transitional Oversight Committee, staff, volunteers and the wider netball community, whose continued commitment is helping rebuild and strengthen the game across the country.
