The Ministry of Health and Medical Services team had an impressive performance in the Rexona Futsal Cup on Wednesday, qualifying for the quarter-finals as first timers.

They secured a convincing 8-1 victory over Westpac Bank.

Despite Westpac’s previous victory over the defending champions Fiji Police, MOHMS did not give them any chances to settle down.

Team captain Jashneel Singh said they were looking forward for the quarter-finals.

Cup elimination results, Ministry of Education defeated Vodafone 3-1, DHL beat Pacific Customs Agencies Ltd 5-2, Janty Combine beat BAT Fiji 3-1, IHG defeated BSP 3-1, Nasinu Town Council won 1-0 over Tower Insurance, and Goodman Fielder triumphed 4-2 over HFC.
