Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka says the inaugural Tourism Super Week 2024 has acted as a critical platform, addressing the pressing issues that confronts the tourism industry.

Officiating at the closing of the Tourism Super Week 2024 yesterday Mr Gavoka commended the participation of tourism stakeholders.

“The dedication and enthusiasm of every participant has been the cornerstone of this event’s unparalleled success, transforming it into a hub for knowledge, co-operation and progression within the tourism sector,” he said.

“Over this four-day symposium, we have collectively delved into enriching dialogues, shared ideas and established invaluable connections and hopefully partnerships.

“This forum has acted as a critical platform, addressing the pressing issues that confront our industry.

“From sustainable practices to integrating digital innovation, all aimed at refining the tourism experience, while preserving the essence of our natural and cultural legacies.”
