Media banned from SODELPA AGM

The media has not been allowed to attend the SODELPA annual general meeting at the civic centre in Suva.

SODELPA general secretary Viliame Takayawa has advised the media that questions could be raised with them after the meeting,

The Naitasiri chief Ratu Inoke Takiveikata has arrived for the SODELPA annual general meeting accompanied by Aseri Radrodro, the party management board party leader select.

Body language spoke of differences among senior members as Mr Radrodro walked right past Ba West SODELPA president Seremaia Tuiteci without uttering a word.

Mr Tuiteci has confirmed that their branch would support Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka.

The AGM has not started and it is understood that the party needs at least 100 registered paying members in order to have the meeting.

Supporters have arrived in busses and mini vans from Naitasiri and the Western division.
