“We are bracing for a tough challenge against Nadroga.”

These are the words from Lautoka Maroons secretary Setariki Rakoto ahead of the Skipper Cup round nine clash against the Stallions at Lawaqa Park tomorrow.

“We got our first away win last weekend against Tailevu and we know facing Nadroga at home and coming away with a win will not be easy at all,” he said.

Rakoto said they were currently fifth on the points table and want to cement that spot in order to be one of the challenges for Farebrother Trophy.

“Nadroga is in top four already and we have a chance to contest for the prestigious trophy and we want to maintain our momentum going forward.

“We also want to be in the top eight, in order to make the quarter-finals of the Skipper Cup competition.”

The kicks off at 3pm.
