South African reggae icon Lucky Dube’s son, Thokozani (TK) Dube, has been confirmed as the headline international artist for the Viti Reggae Festival, which will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi from October 8 to 10.

The announcement was made today by Viti Festivals, which also unveiled the festival’s theme: “Noqu Bula – My Life, Noqu Vuvale – My Family, Noqu Vanua – My Community, Noqu Viti – My Fiji.”

The festival is being hosted by the Viti Indigenous Tourism Alliance (VITA), Fiji’s premier indigenous-led tourism advocacy organisation. VITA is dedicated to promoting indigenous tourism by empowering local operators, supporting sustainable development and ensuring Fiji’s cultural heritage remains central to the nation’s tourism industry.

In a statement, Viti Festivals said months of planning had culminated in securing a strong lineup of regional reggae heavyweights and Fiji’s top local performers.

“This three-day celebration of island sound will run daily from 3pm to 11pm, offering fans an immersive experience of world-class music, local cuisine and cultural artistry,” the statement said.

The festival’s Artist and Technical Manager said organisers had spent the past month finalising agreements with performers who truly represent the spirit of reggae.

“The energy at Prince Charles Park this October will be unmatched,” the manager said.

Official ticket sales open today, with a limited number of early-bird tickets available through TicketMax. Organisers are encouraging reggae fans to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.
