FIJI Airways Drua halfback Frank Lomani has been given another chance to be part of the Flying Fijians in the November tour.

The Nukubalavu, Savusavu native is among the seven Drua players — Joeli Veitayaki, Eroni Mawi, Mesulame Dolokoto, Ratu Vere Vugakoto, Mosese Voka, Alivereti Veitokani, and Albert Tuisue who were named in the Flying Fijians by coach John McKee.

The Naitasiri halfback is grateful for another opportunity to represent his country for the spring tour. “But before that, I have a big game on Saturday which I am focusing on,” he said.

He said step by step his aim was not only to win, but to perform at the level that was expected of him.

His inclusion in the Melbourne Rebels team earlier this year in Super Rugby was a huge advantage for his rugby career heading towards the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Lomani has been a key player for the Senirusi Seruvakula-coached side which is preparing for its semi-final against Western Force at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Lomani made a total of 53 tackles in the competition where he was successful in 42 and missed 11.

Lomani joined the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians last year for the Pacific Nations Cup and also the 2017 November Europe tour.
