LELEAN Memorial School’s Under-18 impressive unbeaten run has been one of the major talking points heading into this Saturday’s Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union semi-finals.
The Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union Association secretary Epeli Kalou says all semi-finalists have earned their place through hard work and commitment throughout the competition.
“Every team that has reached the semi-finals has reached there by virtue of hard work, and they deserve to be in the semi-finals,” Kalou said.
“In particular, in the U18, Lelean has impressed so far. They have been on an unbeaten run, and it has not happened for so long.”
Apart from the U18 grade, semi-final matches in other divisions will also be contested as schools continue their quest for Eastern Zone honours.
