Update: 7:04PM A LOCALLY formed group of health experts, researchers and consumer advocates are ready to launch the much-awaited Alliance for Healthy Living to work towards changing consumer behaviour.
The core-founders of the Alliance for Healthy Living are Diabetes Fiji, National Food and Nutrition Centre and the Consumer Council of Fiji.
They were assisted by some medical and dental practitioners, academics, retired nurses, school teachers and civil society organisations.
The Alliance for Healthy Living will be launched at the 2015 World Consumer Rights Day celebration scheduled for Friday at the Southern Cross Hotel in Suva, starting at 9am.
