The Labasa football side has kept its hope alive for a spot in the OFC Champions League play-off with a 2-nil win over Nasinu in the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Subrail Park yesterday.
The northerners scored a goal in each half for the win.
The win sees Labasa close the gap on Rewa to two points, with the latter in action today.
Rewa leads the standings with 34 points followed by Labasa on 32.
Lautoka is third with 28 points.
Labasa has played 16 games, while Rewa and Lautoka have 15 matches each.
Manwhile, fans can look forward to an exciting triple-header at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today, starting with Navua battling Tailevu Naitasiri at 11am, Suva facing Nadroga at 1pm, and the highly anticipated match between Rewa and Lautoka at 3pm.
In the lone match at the Fiji Football Association Academy Ground in Ba, the Men in Black take on Nadi at 3pm.
