Labasa businessman commissions self-funded island project

LABASA business tycoon Charan Jeath Singh commissioned three fully-funded projects on Kia Island in Macuata, Vanua Levu, today.

The projects included sanitation facilities and a restroom for the villagers of Dakuniba, Ligau and Yaro.

Village elders thanked Mr Singh for fulfilling his promise despite losing the 2018 general elections.

Mr Singh who spent about $30,000 on the three projects told villagers that he would continue to assist with development projects.
