The Fiji Police Force will produce Imran Khan, also known as “King Khan,” at the Nadi Magistrates Court charged with one count of contravening a restraining order.

Police say the charge is in relation to an alleged breach of a High Court Order, where the accused is believed to have disposed of a vehicle that was subject to the restraining order.

The order also covered a $400,000 property, cash held at a local bank, and four vehicles.

Authorities conducted raids at four properties in Makoi, Valelevu and Davuilevu in search of one of the vehicles that remained unaccounted for.

Police clarified that the other vehicles listed under the High Court Order had already been seized and remained in Police custody, contrary to claims circulating on social media that they had been removed prior to the raid.

The Fiji Police Force is urging members of the public to verify information before posting or sharing content online.
