The Kadavu women’s team will be banking on the support of their fans this weekend when they take on Macuata in the semi-finals of the Royal Tea Ranadi Cup competition at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Friday.

Team manager Josevata Rove said the support of their fans had played a huge role in the team’s performance throughout the season, and they are calling out once more as they try to book a spot in the final.

“Our fans have been one of our biggest motivators to all our games, and we are calling out to them once more before we face Macuata in the semi-final this weekend,” Rove said.

The side is undefeated in their pool and is looking to continue their winning ways this weekend.

Meanwhile, Rove said they were aware of the threat the Macuata side posed and were not underestimating the side despite coming from an impressive 60-0 win over Tavua in the quarter-finals last weekend.

They face Macuata at 11am on Friday, while Cakaudrove plays Vatukoula at 11am at Subrail Park in Labasa.
