Investigations in Grace Road church activities in Fiji continue

AS the Grace Road Group deplored the jailing of its church leader the Rev Shin Ok-joo, investigations into the church’s activities in Fiji remain ongoing.

Grace Road Fiji public relations manager Grace Park said the group in Fiji had taken immediate steps to appeal the lower district court’s decision to sentence Shin to six years in jail.

The Fijian Government said it offered “full support of our police force” towards investigations into the church’s activities in Fiji.

Joint investigations between the South Korean authorities and the Fiji Police Force are investigating breaches of Fijian law.
