It is humbling to read about the Canadian Fiji residents from as far as Alberta Province, Edmonton, Calgary and other provinces brave the cold snowy road conditions to drive 13 hours to Vancouver to cheer our Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team on.
Our boys have never won the Vancouver title and maybe, after the bronze medal last week, they will up their game and go for gold in Vancouver.
In Hamilton, NZ, when our boys flew in after a disappointing performance in Sydney, they were met by a huge Fijian crowd from all over New Zealand to support them and push them on.
So as our Canada Fiji sevens fans turn up for the Vancouver 7s tournament in droves, I hope that our boys will do a repeat of Hamilton over the weekend.
With the win in Vancouver, the long ride back home for fans would be well worth it.
Go Fiji go.
