Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji — Sonaisali Island, have been officially certified as a “Great Place to Work”.

In a statement, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa stated the achievement marked an incredible milestone of five consecutive years of recognition.

“While receiving the certification is an achievement in itself, sustaining it over five years reflects something even more meaningful, a workplace culture built on trust, inclusion, growth and genuine care for people,” the Hilton Group said.

“At the heart of both resorts is a commitment to creating an environment where team members feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.

“The certification is based entirely on confidential team member feedback, making it a true reflection of the everyday experiences of those who bring Hilton hospitality to life.”

Hilton Fiji said this milestone also reflected Hilton’s global “Iconic Hosting” brand platform.

“A commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality through meaningful human connections. Iconic hosting begins with team members.

“By fostering an environment where people can grow, belong and succeed, Hilton enables its teams to create unforgettable experiences for every guest, every stay.”

Cluster general manager Fiji Islands Carey Osborne said when their team feel supported, they create the exceptional experiences that guests remember.

“Our people are the heart of everything we do,”she said.

“Achieving Great Place to Work certification for five consecutive years is a testament to the incredible culture our team members have built together.

“We are immensely proud of this achievement because it reflects the genuine care, respect and opportunities we strive to provide every day.

“Across both resorts, team members benefit from Hilton’s award-winning workplace initiatives, including opportunities for career development, learning programs, recognition initiatives, wellbeing support and the chance to build meaningful careers within one of the world’s leading hospitality companies.”

The Hilton Group said continued recognition reinforces Hilton’s longstanding commitment to its founding purpose of filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.

“It is a commitment that extends beyond guests to the thousands of team members who make Hilton one of the world’s most admired employers.

“As Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Fiji’s leading island resorts, this fifth consecutive Great Place to Work certification stands as a proud reminder that exceptional hospitality begins with exceptional people.”

The Hilton brand is consistently recognised as a top employer globally, and this local accolade reaffirms its leadership in cultivating meaningful careers and exceptional workplace cultures across the Asia Pacific hospitality industry.
