A man alleged to have killed a 58-year-old man in Tavuki, Taveuni, this month has been further remanded in custody.

Petero Uluilakeba was charged with a count of murder. He appeared before Magistrate Amelia Vavadakua yesterday.

Ms Vavadakua has  transferred the case to the High Court in Labasa where he will reappear on May 14.

Mr Uluilakeba is also facing a charge of criminal intimidation and is scheduled to appear at the Savusavu Magistrate’s Court for this offence.
