JACK’S of Fiji will open two new stores in the next three months, according to company chief executive officer Bhavin Khatri.

Mr Khatri told this newspaper the stores will be located at Nausori Plaza and Damodar City Labasa.

“We have just completed a full face-lift of our Corner Cafe outlet, which opened in January this year,” said Mr Khatri.

He said the company has further upgrades planned for their flagship store in Nadi Town and that work has already started on a new distribution centre.

“We are doing a new head office in Nadi town, which, when complete, would be a very modern facility to meet the requirements of today’s work environment.”

Mr Khatri said the new projects have a total investment of more than $25million with a timeframe of 24 months to completion.

He said staff retention had been their biggest challenge as it had been the case throughout the country.

“Our employees are our biggest assets and it is now more critical than ever to invest and build more leaders as we expand our operations.”
