In news: $3-4billion – that is what the largest representative body of doctors in Fiji wants the national budget for health and medical services to be, compared with the current $300-$400 million. Fiji Medical Association (FMA) president Dr Basharat Munshi said the health budget needs to be increased ten-fold if Fiji is to achieve excellence in health care.
