A war of words has erupted again between Deputy Prime Minister and National Federation Party (NFP) leader Professor Biman Prasad and Unity Fiji leader Savenaca Narube as critics zero in on issues plaguing the Coalition. The former Reserve Bank of Fiji governor voiced dissatisfaction over what he termed “firefighting” from the Government side as they moved to douse a string of events that revealed “cracks” in the coalition. In response, Prof Prasad said Mr Narube did not seem to understand how coalition governments worked because he did not have that political experience yet. That’s the lead news on the front page of The Fiji Times for Wednesday, April 24.
