Western Force openside flanker Carlo Tizzano is aware of the threat the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will bring to the game against them in Perth tomorrow.

Super Rugby Pacific’s leading tackler says his team is aware of the strengths of its opponents.

“They’re phenomenal, probably the best in the world at picking through the ruck, quick throws, offloading, all those little things that can change the tempo and momentum of the game like that,” Tizanno stated on the Western Force official page.

The flanker isn’t celebrating his own form, instead fully focused on a late-season finals push.

“We want to perform this weekend. Performance is key for us. That will build us momentum. This competition is a sprint, so we’re really excited.”

He says his team will need to be on song against the Fijians.

“The key against them is getting them out of the flow on their rhythm and staying on,” Tizzano said.

“For us it’s huge to stay in system and don’t let them play their game.”

The two teams met in round six at Churchill Park in Lautoka when the Drua beat the Force 31-13.

Tomorrow’s match kicks off at 11.55pm.
