Fijian Drua captain Meli Derenalagi says the players are looking forward to playing their first Super Rugby Pacific match on home soil next week.
The Swire Shipping-sponsored Drua takes on the Highlanders at the ANZ Stadium in Suva next Saturday.
The side has been away in Australia since November last year and is based at Lennox Head in NSW because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Mick Byrne-coached side has so far recorded one win from seven matches and lie in 11th spot in the competition — two points ahead of bottom-placed Moana Pasifika.
“It will mean a lot to us playing in front of a home crowd,” Derenalagi said.
“I know the boys will play their hearts out and we’ll stick to the system that the coaches want us to play.”
Next week, the side faces the Blues at AAMI Stadium in Melbourne before taking on the Hurricanes in Wellington a fortnight away.
The side hosts Moana Pasifika at CommBank Stadium in Sydney on May 14 before travelling to Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch to take on the mighty Crusaders.
The Drua rounds off its inaugural Super Rugby Pacific campaign against the Chiefs seven days later.
Meanwhile, tickets to the Drua v Highlanders match are on sale at the Fiji Sports Council offices and Post Fiji outlets.
Four categories of tickets are available – Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Almost half of available tickets for the match are in the Bronze category, which is the grass embankment seating, and priced at $30 for adults and $15 for children under-12.
Silver tickets, seated in the concrete embankment are priced at $75 flat.
The sides of the main grandstand of the ANZ Stadium are in the Gold categories, split into alcohol and non-alcohol zones, and priced at $150.
Platinum tickets are premium viewing positions in the centre of the main grandstand and priced at $180.
