Publicly-listed automotive company Shreedhar Motors Limited (SML) has secured the prestigious 2025 Ford President’s Award for New Vehicle Sales.
It was also recognised for achieving the Record New Vehicle Sales in the first quarter of 2026.
The Ford President’s Award is a highly coveted recognition within Ford, and it acknowledges SML’s outstanding new vehicle sales performance during the 2025 calendar year. SML chairperson Satya Maharaj said the company had continued its strong sales performance this year. He said Ford – Asia Pacific Distributor Markets (APDM) – the overarching regional division of the Ford Motor Company that oversees independent licensed distributor partners across the Asia-Pacific region – sales results as at August this year ranked Fiji first in its market category for year-to-date retail sales performance against its annual sales objective. “The board considers these achievements an important endorsement of SML’s operational performance, its longstanding relationship with Ford and the contribution of the employees across Fiji,” Mr Maharaj said in the company’s market announcement to the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX).
“The board thanks SML’s customers, employees and business partners for their continued support and contribution to these achievements.”
APDM executive director Sami Malkawi said SML was a consistent growth contributor across APDM, and acknowledged the passion, dedication and commitment of SML’s board, management and employees to serving customers.
