EXCITEMENT is building ahead of the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT as Fiji’s premier football clubs prepare to battle for one of the country’s most prestigious domestic titles later this month.
The tournament will be staged in Labasa from June 19 to 28, with pool matches scheduled at Subrail Park from June 19 to 21. The semi-finals will be played on June 27, followed by the final on June 28.
Eight teams will contest this year’s competition, including Labasa, Rewa, Suva, Navua, Ba, Lautoka, Nasinu, and Nadroga, setting the stage for what is expected to be a highly competitive tournament.
Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said anticipation was growing among players, officials, and supporters following several notable player movements during the mid-season transfer window.
“The BiC Fiji FACT is the first major tournament on the Fiji FA calendar, and we are expecting a very exciting competition in the tournament,” Yusuf said.
“Several teams have secured major signings during the transfer window, which has added another level of interest and competitiveness to the tournament.”
This year’s event is expected to be no different, with teams strengthening their squads in a bid to gain an edge over their rivals.
The addition of new players is likely to increase competition for places within each squad while raising the overall standard of football throughout the tournament.
“Fans can expect high-quality football, and we encourage supporters to come to Labasa and experience the atmosphere first-hand,” he said.
With the country’s top clubs set to converge on the North, the countdown to the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT is well underway.
As teams complete their final preparations, attention will soon turn to Subrail Park, where another chapter in Fiji football’s rich tournament history is set to unfold.
