The Fiji Police Force has intensified its surge operations across Suva and surrounding areas, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of cash and suspected illicit substances.
Police confirmed that more than $4,000 believed to be proceeds of crime was seized during the latest raids.
Officers also confiscated white substances suspected to be methamphetamine, dried leaves believed to be marijuana, and several mobile phones thought to be stolen.
Successful raids were conducted in Nadonumai and Narere, while targeted patrols were carried out in Nabua and nearby communities as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal activity.
The Fiji Police Force says operations are continuing nationwide, particularly in relation to the cultivation and unlawful possession of marijuana, with arrests and seizures recorded across all five divisions.
