THE McDonald’s Fijian Drua Women will head into the biggest match in the club’s history with an unchanged line-up against NSW Waratahs at Four R Stadium in Ba on Saturday.
Head coach Mike Legge retained the same Match-Day 23 that powered the side into the 2026 Super Rugby Women’s Grand Final.
Captain Kolora Lomani, who starts at halfback alongside flyhalf Varanisese Qoro in a settled halves combination that has guided the Drua throughout the finals campaign. Veteran prop Karalaini Naisewa is set to make her 31st appearance for the club, extending her record as the most-capped Drua Women’s player. She starts at loosehead prop alongside her elder sister Keleni Marawa and tighthead prop Tiana Robanakadavu in an experienced front row. The second-row features Mereoni Nakesa starting at locks partnering Carletta Yee.
The back row remains unchanged with Nunia Daunimoala at blindside flanker, Salaseini Railumu on the openside and powerful No.8 Sulita Waisega completing a formidable loose forward trio. Aqela Raitubu starts on the left wing while prolific finisher Atelaite Buna takes her place on the right.
The flying Josivini Naihamu starts at inside centre while Merewairita Neivoha on the outside and Litiana Vueti at fullback.
Legge has also maintained continuity on the bench, with seasoned captain Bitila Tawake providing cover at hooker alongside front-row replacements Zipporah Sorokacika and Keri Lawavou.
Karavaki Lutumaibau and Alfreda Fisher will add muscle to the forward pack, while Evivi Senikarivi, Repeka Tove and Verenaisi Ditavutu provide backline versatility and impact in the closing stages.
In the injury cloud are fly-half Imeri Nai and utility back Ivamere Rokowati. With no changes to the match-day squad, the Drua will rely on the combinations, confidence and momentum built during their semi-final triumph as they seek to create history by claiming their first ever Super Rugby Women’s title in front of their home supporters in Ba.
