THE Public Service Commission has appointed Dr Jemesa Tudravu as the permanent secretary for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

Dr Tudravu was the former Ministry of Health Chief Medical Advisor and was previously acting as the Health Ministry’s permanent secretary since December of last year.

PSC chairman Luke Rokovada says he is thrilled to welcome Dr Tudravu, an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon and Health Administrator with more than 30 years of working experience both locally and abroad.

Mr Rokovada says Dr Tudravu’s exceptional leadership qualities and track record of success makes him the ideal candidate to lead the health ministry.

“We are confident that under his guidance, the ministry will thrive and achieve new heights in improving health care services delivery,” Mr Rokovada said.

“His appointment represent a significant milestone and we are excited about the opportunities ahead under his leadership.”
