Labasa residents can soon look forward to a vibrant shopping and dining experience as Damodar City prepares to unveil its much-anticipated food court by April-end.

This development comes as part of the ongoing expansion efforts led by Damodar Group of Companies.

CEO Div Damodar said the opening of the food court would mark another significant milestone for the company.

“It’s quite exciting,” Mr Damodar said.

The expansion plans, he said would include the filling of retail spaces with an expected completion by June.

“Leading retailers such as Jacks, Harrison, and S Nagindas are set to open outlets at Damodar City in Labasa.”

“This will contribute to job creation and economic growth in the region.”

Mr Damodar said they were still negotiating with Tappoo and Prouds on the potential of establishing an outlet in Labasa.

“Just wait for the announcement.”

He said there were also plans for Damodar City to open a pub.

“As for this too, negotiations are still underway.”

The final phase of the expansion project, he said, would see the completion of the hotel.
