The Fijian Government has started an online survey to find out the economic impact of COVID-19 on businesses.

The survey states the Fijian Government “understands that the economic crisis brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted businesses across Fiji, both large and small”.

The Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport is carrying out the online survey in partnership with the International Finance Corporation.

“The most important objective of this survey is to hear directly from businesses on the impact of the crisis and the resources needed to be able to survive.

“The survey will also assess the overall impact of the crisis.”

The Government wants to know what businesses are doing to adapt in the short term and what changes businesses have made to their operations.

The survey form can be found on the Fijian Government Facebook page.
