TWO road maintenance contracts in the Northern Division have not been renewed, Infrastructure Minister Ro Filipe Tuisawau has confirmed.
They are Fair Deal and Kashmir.
Responding to questions on the status of the contracts, Mr Tuisawau confirmed that the contracts were not renewed but could not comment further as decisions concerning the contracts were made by the board of the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA).
The FRA said the contracts were yet to be finalised and the process was still work in progress.
It declined to provide further details on the contractors, directing questions about their contracts to the companies concerned.
