Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is urging the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women’s team to continue inspiring the younger generation.

This was after the Drua lost 14-50 to the Waratahs in the final of Super W on Sunday.

Rabuka took to social media to express his gratitude for the team’s effort.

“A few hours late but thought to congratulate our Fijian Drua women’s side for a wonderful performance against the NSW Waratahs women’s team during the Super Rugby Women’s final at Ballymore,” he wrote.

He looks forward to what the team has to offer next season.

“You all did your country proud. We look forward to another season of good display of rugby in 2025.

“Continue to be an inspiration to our young girls at home who aspire to become professional rugby players. Keep at it, girls. We are proud of you all,” Rabuka wrote.

The Prime Minister was at Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane and was among the many Fijians that turned up to support our women.
