S Nagindas Fiji invested $4million in its outlet at Damodar City in Labasa.
The opening yesterday marked their second outlet in Labasa.
S Nagindas general manager Amit Khatri said the second outlet provides customers with international standard shopping.
“The new outlet is a big shop with a wide variety of shopping,” he said.
Mr Khatri said they have always wanted to open a large shopping complex.
“The outlet in Labasa Town is small, so thanks to Damodar for constructing a huge shopping complex.”
In an interview with this newspaper, he said they not only sell men but also for children and women.
“We wanted to show the people of Labasa the wide range of stuff we sell.”
He said the new outlet had generated employment in the North.
“A total of 31 individual have been employed by the company.”
Mr Khatri said he had received a lot of support from people of Labasa prior to the opening of their new outlet.
